Commencing on July 1, 2017, in order to qualify for renewal or to reinstate an unrenewed license after that date, every individual licensed as a broker, broker-salesperson or salesperson must complete 12 hours of continuing education. At least six of the twelve credits must be obtained in courses within the core topics, specified at N.J.A.C. 11:5-12.4. The six shall include at least 2 credit hours on ethics. In order not to incur a $200. processing fee, all Continuing Education (CE) credits must be reported ot the New Jersey Real Estate Commission (NJREC) no later than April 30, 2017. CE Credits reported to the NJREC between May 1st and June 30th, 2017 will require a licensee to pay a $200. processing fee in addition to the license renewal fee. Get More information HERE.
