New Member Orientation

Welcome! You are one in more than one million members nationwide. We are committed to your business and are providing tools for your success.

We encourage you to sign up (within your first three months of membership) to attend the new member orientation. This is a mandatory requirement. During our orientation we will explain to you everything you need to know about your membership including the wide array of benefits, business tools, real estate market data, educational opportunities, and discount programs designed to help you succeed in today's market.  You can check the Event Calendar to see upcoming dates.

The New Member Orientation program also covers topics necessary for you, as a REALTOR®, to conduct yourself professionally and ethically including Professional Standards, Anti-trust, Agency and Fair Housing.

All new PCBOR® members applying for REALTOR® membership for the first time are considered provisional members until they attend a New Member Orientation program which includes a minimum of 2.5 hours on the National Association of REALTOR® Code of Ethics. This requirement must be fulfilled within the first 90 days of submitting a new member application. Failure to complete this requirement within the 90 day requirement will result in termination of membership.

Join your fellow new members to find out about all our member benefits.

For members who have not been active, this is the perfect time to get reacquainted & updated on all the new benefits and programs to help your business grow!

There is no cost for the live Orientation or Ethics programs. Both programs at presented in our board office (204 Berdan Avenue, Wayne) in order to give our new members an opportunity to visit our headquarters office and meet with our on-site staff.

Exemption: If you were a member in good standing with another REALTOR® Board/Association within the last year and you completed an orientation program with Code of Ethics of not less than two hours and thirty minutes of instructional you are exempt from this mandate. Contact your previous Board/Association for proof of completion of the required orientation and ethics course. Fax your verification to Pat Batavia, 973.305.1611 within 90 days submitting your new member application. However, in order familiarize yourself with all of the benefits PCBOR® has to offer, we recommend you plan to attend at least the PCBOR® New Member Orientation portion of the program.
