Bloomingdale, New Jersey
Nestled next to the Pequannock River sits a small suburban borough of a little more than 7,500 residents. Bloomingdale, is a borough in Passaic County, New Jersey, that not only offers an aesthetic sense of peace but also warms your heart. This town is dedicated to preserving wildlife and readily giving support and relief where necessary with the many volunteer programs Bloomingdale's residents extend to those in need. In fact recent projects include the restoration and improvement of the local Sloan Park and the beautifying of the Hamburg Turnpike/Main Street pedestrian crosswalk.
Bloomingdale's school district is one that serves students in grades K-8, almost 650 children. The Martha B. Day School and Samuel R. Donald School function as elementary schools while the Walter T. Bergen School serves students grade 5-8. The Bloomingdale school system is apart of a send/receiving program with Butler public schools, so in turn students grades 9-12 attend Butler High School, in Morris County.
Commuting in and our of this borough is mad eeasy using Interstate-287 and -80, as Routes 23 and 46. Main Street is the major vein throughout this borough reaching from one end of Bloomingdale to the other.
