Food Pantry for Military Veterans Set to Open in Paterson. Pascrell: It’s the Least We Can Do

It’s that noble mission that keeps members of Rotary Clubs all over the globe involved in making important impacts in their local community. And, in Paterson, it’s no different.


On Monday, that motto came to life again when members of then Great Falls Rotary Club and the Passaic County Board of Realtors, flanked by Congressman Bill Pascrell, Mayor Jane Williams-Warren, Councilman Andre Sayegh, and several local veterans, stood together to announce the opening of the Great Falls Rotary Foundation Military Assistance Pantry.

Real Estate Professionals Remain Cautiously Optimistic About Upcoming Year

(WAYNE. N.J.) -- Although inventory was down from previous years, the overall housing affordability remained stable throughout 2017. Despite mixed sales volumes, housing prices were consistently on the rise. While for buyers, higher prices may not be favorable, listing activity is expected to increase as more sellers are growing confident for 2018. Experts believe that with the economy slowly shifting, improved conditions are anticipated for sellers. 

The Passaic County Board of Realtors has chosen The Valerie Fund as their "Charity of Choice" for 2018.

With the opening of a new Valerie Fund Children's Center at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital in Paterson, New Jersey an additional 1,000 critically ill children and their families from Northern New Jersey have the opportunity to receive the comprehensive healthcare and financial support The Valerie Fund has to offer. Passaic County is a new geographic region for our organization and the home to The Passaic County Board of Realtors whose members have become important fundraising partners in recent years.

Housing Market Remains Stable as Buyers and Sellers Prepare for Upcoming School Year


Wayne, NJ -- While August marks the beginning of the school year for many regions in New Jersey, home prices continue to be on the rise. Although parents of schoolchildren are often hesitant to make a drastic move and uproot households in the first months of school, consumers that don’t have children helped keep the market on an upward slope. With a stable economy, consistent wage growth, and constant mortgage rates, the competition for buyers is expected to remain aggressive for available listings.

Paterson breaks ground on second major improvement project at Great Falls

The city broke ground on the second major improvement project at the Great Falls National Historical Park on Monday afternoon. Shovels went into the ground at the Overlook Park for a $3.2 million project that includes a connective pathway to Mary Ellen Kramer Park, an earthen and stone seat amphitheater, and a plaza providing a breathtaking view of the sublime water fall.

Wayne, NJ – Passaic County Board of Realtors® President Dana Williams has been selected as a recipient for the 2017 Shirley Chisholm Awards Ceremony for her excellence in Business. Every year, trailblazing women are chosen for their accolades in public service and leadership. Williams began her term as PCBOR President in 2017 and became the first female African-American to do so.
